EVERETT, Wash. — A man is accused of stabbing several people during a reported burglary in Everett on Monday.
Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to the 1200 block of 112th Street Southwest about 9:03 a.m.
A 20-year-old man had arrived at the home, knocked on the door and forced entry after not receiving a response, according to a sheriff’s office spokesperson.
The man stabbed multiple people inside, the sheriff’s office said.
A 22-year-old man fought off the attacker and put him in a chokehold, holding the suspect until deputies arrived.
Two of the three victims were critically injured and taken to Providence Medical Center. The third person who detained the suspect was not seriously hurt.
